Newton Et Cetera Shop’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that James Wilson will be the new general manager of the shop starting May 8, 2023.

As a Newton resident, James is well-known in the community, most notably as general manager of the New Hope Shelter from 2012-2020. James directed staff and volunteers to care for residents in need.

James is currently a Senior Area Community Business Manager for 150 multi-family, affordable housing units in Newton, Moundridge and McPherson.

He brings many leadership and organizational skills to the Et Cetera Shop. His proven leadership and experience with teams were key to the hiring team as he was selected for this position. He also brings extensive knowledge of our community and working with non-profit organizations, which was a great plus to the Newton Et Cetera Shop Board of Directors.
