Just about five years ago we started having conversations about creating a Junior Clothing Department at Et Cetera Shop. Our goal was to have a place where young girls could come and find their favorite name brands for much less than the mall and get excited about shopping thrift. Trends have significantly changed over the years and we are finding that the young ladies of our community have a very creative, individual and sometimes extravagant style.

For instance, my daughter spent the day shopping at the mall in Wichita last Saturday where she bought nothing. When she came back to Newton and went to Et Cetera Shop, she found an awesome sweater in the Men’s Clothing Department for half price!

She was so excited! Sometimes you have to think outside of your designated clothing department to find the look you love.

So bring on your 80’s sweaters everyone. There is a new generation that will love them!
